Hi {contactfield=firstname},
From My Desk...
Each week, I’ll be sharing a little about what’s happening in my world—whether it’s in my role as a cardiologist, the work I’m doing with the Healthy Heart Network and our new Healthy Life Network, or even personal updates from my family and life. My goal is to give you a closer look at what’s been keeping me busy, while also sharing tips and insights to help you on your own heart health journey. I hope you enjoy these updates and find them helpful as you strive to live well and stay healthy.
Hello & welcome,
Some weeks quietly move the needle.
Others mark a genuine turning point.
This has been one of those rare weeks where multiple threads — clinical, personal, and strategic — all came together. And it’s left me feeling deeply optimistic about what we’re building together.
After many years of focusing on heart disease prevention, I’ve officially hosted my final Healthy Heart Network live call. It’s the end of a chapter — and the beginning of something far more expansive.
We are now transitioning to the Healthy Life Network: a broader, more holistic, more human platform focused not just on avoiding illness, but on maximising healthspan, energy, and independence... I'm sure you will be interested in the joining the journey.
I’m especially excited to be doing this alongside Dr Sally Chapman, an outstanding local integrative GP with deep expertise in gut health, hormones, metabolic health, and whole-person medicine. We share a strong mutual respect and a shared vision — and I believe this collaboration will allow us to help people in a far more powerful way than either of us could alone.
Family & Personal Highlights
Chelle has been incredibly busy this week, taking back over the Airbnb management and pouring her energy into sanding the front deck and freshening up the house - a true labour of love.
Max remains in Samoa with his girlfriend visiting, he's keeping a low profile but doing well from all accounts.
Ella is still travelling in Vietnam and having the adventure of a lifetime. We have been in touch with her partner Tallam, a lovely fellow.
Sean continues to be an absolute rock for both OsteoStrong Hobart and Longevity Labs, helping upstairs and downstairs wherever he’s needed.
Dad has been battling a stubborn bad back and a bit of frustration that comes with it - we’re keeping a close eye on him and supporting where we can.
James and Moonmoon have been away and so quiet on that front, can't wait to have them back so we can be sholder to shoulder working through 2026.
Professional & Business Updates
This week I completed my NAD Plus IV therapy training, and I can honestly say it has taken our Longevity Labs IV offering to a whole new level. The scope of what we can now safely and effectively do — from immune resilience and fatigue to neurological support, recovery, and anti-aging — is incredibly exciting.
Sarah, our nurse, continues to do a wonderful job delivering care alongside Sean, and patient feedback has been very positive.
At OsteoStrong Hobart, we’ve also made an important strategic shift. We are now broadening our focus beyond bone density alone to actively support people who want to maintain independence and strength despite frailty, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s disease, MS, and other degenerative neurological conditions. This is a group that is often underserved - and we believe our model can genuinely change lives here.
I also had the pleasure of connecting with some inspiring people this week:
• Jim Poole, CEO of NuCalm - we recorded a fantastic podcast on stress, resilience, and the nervous system. I’m delighted to also be joining the NuCalm community as a Stress Avenger, helping spread practical tools for emotional and physiological calm... AND being able to offer serious discounts to my community to access this amazing product...So check this,
NuCalm offers a 7 day free trial so you can experience NuCalm before subscribing.

It is amazing!
• Guy Leech - we recorded a brilliant 40-minute conversation (which, yes, I forgot to press record on 😅), so we’re doing it again this week. It was too good not to.
Watch this space for the Younger Longer Platform launch, adn pelase share this newsletter with anyone you think would value the focus on wellbeing and longterm health... there's lots that will come down the pike.
• C15 (Fatty15) - we’re lining up a dedicated podcast with the team behind this fascinating essential fatty acid and its role in metabolic and cellular health... it really is worth a try and part of my daily routine, I love the science... keep an eye out.
And I’m thrilled to report that Cholesterol Explained is now officially in Penny’s hands for indexing, which means we are truly in the final stretch before it heads to John for production and global upload.
