Hi {contactfield=firstname},

From My Desk...

Each week, I’ll be sharing a little about what’s happening in my world—whether it’s in my role as a cardiologist, the work I’m doing with the Healthy Heart Network and our new Healthy Life Network, or even personal updates from my family and life. My goal is to give you a closer look at what’s been keeping me busy, while also sharing tips and insights to help you on your own heart health journey. I hope you enjoy these updates and find them helpful as you strive to live well and stay healthy.

What a week! I’m sitting here still sore (can't move!) from my climb up Mount Anne with my mate Michael M. It’s been years since I tackled anything quite like that, and let’s just say... my legs know it. But the views, the camaraderie, the sense of achievement — absolutely worth it.

Family & Personal Highlights

  • Ella has just set off for her travels through Vietnam. Safe adventures to her!

  • Max is still busy in Samoa, and although we haven’t connected much this week, I know he’s thriving, his partner Katie is visiting, so all good.

  • Chelle is doing well. Her leg is healing steadily with help from some of our fantastic LLIV therapies: peptides, IV mineral and vitamin infusions, and careful support. She’ll see her physio tomorrow to assess the progress with her near-ruptured ACL. She's doing great.

  • Tonight, we’re heading out for a belated Christmas dinner with the work crew — should be great fun!

Professional & Wellness Wins

  • Thursday was an absolute highlight — a whole day spent with our incredible team at OsteoStrong Hobart and Longevity Labs Hobart (LLIV). Time with Sean, Sarah, and the broader crew really reminded me of the power and purpose behind what we’re building.

  • LLIV is gaining real traction — more people are returning and reporting genuine benefits, which is incredibly exciting.

Younger Longer Platform with Guy Leech

I’m thrilled to share that the Younger Longer platform, in collaboration with Guy Leech, is progressing beautifully. Within the platform, I'll soon be launching three key initiatives:

  • The Heart Health Program

  • A 24-Hour Blood Pressure Challenge

  • A Cholesterol Challenge

These resources are designed to empower individuals looking to stay as well as possible for as long as possible — especially into their later years. The launch is just a couple of months away. If you’re interested in learning more, I’d love to hear from you! It will cover a wide range of offerings for your best health journey.

In Case You Missed It

Did you know I had the chance to interview the Original Yellow Wiggle, Greg Page? His story is remarkable — inspiring, eye-opening, and very human. If you’re curious, here are the YouTube links to Part 1 and Part 2:

Book Update: Cholesterol Explained

We’re nearly there. Truly. Penny, Karam, and I are trading emails, edits, and polish. It’s in the final-final-final stage, and we’re so excited to bring this to life.

What I’m Exploring

  • I’ve been using C15:0 (Fatty15) and loving it. It’s now part of my daily stack. I’ve reached out to the team for a potential podcast — stay tuned.

  • I’m also using the NuCalm app for rest, recovery, and deep sleep. Honestly, it’s a game-changer. Another podcast invite is heading their way soon!

  • let me know if you want to know more about it either

Quiz Corner

Last Week’s Question: What is a known benefit of pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy?
Answer: PEMF therapy can help reduce pain and inflammation, improve circulation, and support bone healing and recovery.

This Week’s Question: What is one of the key modifiable risk factors for bowel cancer? (Answer next week!)

Thank you, as always, for being part of this journey. Whether you’re listening, watching, reading, or just checking in, I’m deeply grateful.

Until next time,
