Hi {contactfield=firstname},

From My Desk...

Each week, I’ll be sharing a little about what’s happening in my world—whether it’s in my role as a cardiologist, the work I’m doing with the Healthy Heart Network and our new Healthy Life Network, or even personal updates from my family and life. My goal is to give you a closer look at what’s been keeping me busy, while also sharing tips and insights to help you on your own heart health journey. I hope you enjoy these updates and find them helpful as you strive to live well and stay healthy.

After a wonderful European adventure, Chelle and I are now safely back in Australia. A few flight delays and a dose of jet lag haven’t slowed us down — we’re back into full swing!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family & Personal Highlights

  • Max has arrived in Samoa! He’s sorting accommodation, has already been surfing and fishing, and now just needs to settle into uni.

  • Ella is finishing her uni break and easing back into her routine.

  • Sean is travelling well and keeping the flag flying for the Bulldogs.

  • Chelle is well and, as always, keeps everything running.

🏋️‍♂️ A Personal Note:
Yes… I’m going to admit it — I gained 2.5 kg while we were away (those Austrian beers didn’t drink themselves!). But I’ve been using my daily weigh-ins on our smart body composition scales and focusing on better eating, more movement, and a return to routine. I’m pleased to report I’ve returned to my pre-holiday weight!

Also arriving recently — a thermometer with max/min tracking for my wine cellar. It’s now installed, and I’m monitoring variation… fingers crossed the cellar performs well!
