Hi {contactfield=firstname}
From My Desk...
Each week, I’ll be sharing a little about what’s happening in my world—whether it’s in my role as a cardiologist, the work I’m doing with the Healthy Heart Network, or even personal updates from my family and life. My goal is to give you a closer look at what’s been keeping me busy, while also sharing tips and insights to help you on your own heart health journey. I hope you enjoy these updates and find them helpful as you strive to live well and stay healthy.
Greetings, and I hope you are all well.
All I can say is that this has been an incredibly full week on the home front, with very little happening on the work front.... barely time for the Trump or Isreal issues in the news.
The Australia Day long weekend was dominated by a celebration at the beach house, marking both my 60th birthday and my marriage to Chelle in December. It also served as a house-cooling party, as today is, in fact, is settlement day.
The party was a wonderful opportunity to bring together some of my dearest friends from out of state and, very specially, some of my family who traveled from afar. It was truly heartwarming to have such important people in my life close by to share in the celebrations.
After the fantastic party, Chelle was busy as a beaver packing up, while I honed my trailer-reversing skills. We managed to move an enormous amount of belongings into the property, the huge shed out the back, we purchased today as part of a contemporaneous settlement.
On the work side, I completed a series of videos on bone strength, muscle strength, balance, and OsteoStrong. If you're interested in learning more, feel free to check out the link so you can better understand what I’ve been discussing in previous correspondence.

Karam Kostner was in town for the party, and of course, we took some time to review the cholesterol book, which is still in progress. Penny, our co-writer, is deep in edits and manuscript organization.
Keep an eye out for the book!
In the meantime, The 10 Commandments of Heart Health is gaining traction in the US via Amazon.
If you're interested, you can find the link to the book here. https://drwarrickbishop.com/page/books there are all my books here if interested.
I’m also continuing to develop a 28-day program for Guy Leech and his Younger Longer initiative.
Looking ahead, I have several upcoming podcast topics that I hope you'll find interesting, including:
- Iron overload and its impact on bones
- How much water we should really be drinking
- How AI is outperforming humans in reporting coronary CT scans
For now, I’ll wish you the very best.
Until next time—may you live as well as possible for as long as possible.
