**Greetings!** {contactfield=firstname}, and I hope you’ve had a wonderful week so far!

From My Desk...

Each week, I’ll be sharing a little about what’s happening in my world—whether it’s in my role as a cardiologist, the work I’m doing with the Healthy Heart Network, or even personal updates from my family and life. My goal is to give you a closer look at what’s been keeping me busy, while also sharing tips and insights to help you on your own heart health journey. I hope you enjoy these updates and find them helpful as you strive to live well and stay healthy.

Here’s a little update on what I’ve been up to over the past seven days.

First of all, the Land Rover 110 Defender, which I purchased in 1998, wouldn’t start. It turned out the battery was the culprit. Thankfully, it’s now been fixed, and the dear old car is back in action!

We’ve been putting a lot of effort into the upcoming cholesterol book. I’m finding this process incredibly exciting and am creating podcasts and videos to complement the book’s content.

Keep an eye out for these—they’re designed to enhance your understanding of cholesterol and how it’s managed.

These podcasts and videos will not only inform but also contribute directly to the book’s creation.

Speaking of books, last Friday night, Chelle and I had the chance to celebrate with Penny, my long-standing co-writer, on the publication of 10 Commandments of Heart Health Explained.

We dined at The Point Restaurant at the casino. For those who haven’t been, it’s a stunning location with breathtaking views of Hobart. The food was exceptional, the company was wonderful, and we had a truly memorable evening. I’m already looking forward to the next book launch and the chance to do it all again!

I also had a fascinating podcast interview with Mark Fox, the CEO and founder of Resona Health. His company specializes in portable pulsed electromagnetic field therapy devices. Don’t miss this interview—it’s incredibly engaging! Mark’s career began as a rocket scientist, and he’s now deeply immersed in advancing electromagnetic field therapy.

Additionally, I connected with one of my specialist colleagues, Dr. Frank Nicklason, a highly regarded geriatrician in Hobart. He visited OsteoStrong, and we spent the afternoon talking science—an absolute delight. Dr. Nicklason was so impressed by the science and technology we apply that he’s decided to become a member to benefit from our program.

Ella continues to work intermittently at several coffee shops around Hobart. I’m looking forward to catching up with her later in the week.

Max has finished his final term for the year and has done very well academically, which is fantastic. He’s preparing to head to the Pacific Islands next year for study as part of a DFAT scholarship—if selected.

Chelle and I are still enjoying walks around North Hobart and West Hobart, exploring properties that might become our next home.

We’re also getting very excited about our upcoming wedding on 8 December. It will be a small family gathering where we’ll also celebrate my 60th birthday.

As a little aside, we saw Unbreakable, the Jelena Dokic documentary, last weekend. It’s a compelling story and a true testament to Jelena’s resilience. We’re not usually documentary watchers, but we found this to be an excellent and moving production.

Well, that’s it from me for now.

Until next time, I hope you live as well as possible for as long as possible.
